New talent stylist transitions from front desk coordinator to stylist!

Alex will be training on advanced levels with Kimberly Acworth owner of Indulge Salons. Alex will start taking clients July 19th. She will be available for hair color retouches, color balances, highlights, balayage, and haircuts. Call 717.846.4424 for an appointment.

When I first met Alex, I was impressed with her smile, intelligence and attitude towards others. She came to us via taking a break from college in center city Philadelphia to York, County taking a position as a front desk coordinator which means that she is a liason with customers to the stylists. She scheduled appointments, waved her magic want to squeeze in our VIP customers and overall helped make sure East Market Street ran efficiently while she was on the schedule.

What does it take to achieve your dreams? Desire, Passion and good ole’ fashion goal setting determination! Those are the attributes that our newest talented stylist, Alex Thibodeau has achieved at Indulge Salon.

Over time hanging out with the creative stylists we have, she caught the beauty bug. One day, she called me and said that she signed up for Empire Beauty School. I said ok. I felt like I was pregnant waiting for her to give birth to the beauty school license. 9 – 10 months later our beaming stylist has emerged. Yay! We are very proud of her that she has set her sights on becoming a stylist. She had a dream and has achieved it July 13, 2016.

If you have ever encountered a budding new talented stylist, you could very well see purple hair color one day, pink another and when they get tired of that multi- shaded hue becomes a version of a blonde. It’s crazy but fun. We feel it a privilege to help our new
