I am in currently in Pebble Beach for the weekend and had the opportunity to meet with Jason Ryan Dorsey, the author of Y-Size Your Business. He is so knowledgeable as to why we as business owners struggle with the younger generation. He actually explained why our younger generation whom we think is lazy and not motivated to work. His explanation was not that they didn’t want to work but that they are starting later in life since their parents have paid for everything “while they are in college”. If you own a business or are parents that have teenagers and college kids that have come home to live, you might want to grab his book. Its really great. I could really relate to my daughter whom is now 28 years old.

Take a look at this incredible technique called Balayage Ombre-sardinia. Essentially this is a handpainted highlight strategically placed onto the hair with an angled brush and angled placement of color. Try this beautiful look with sparkling golden highlights or a touch of caramel to brighten up your rich dark chocolate hair color. Here are a couple of tips to keep your new hair color looking fresh:

1. If you are beach bound, take precautions to cover your hair with suv protection spray or leave in treatment.

2. Mosturize your hair with Pureology Essential Repair Condition to detangle and a leave in treatment that has the essential oils of the seed cake part of the sunflower. This is the only reason that the sunflower stays bright all summer and now you can too!

3. Before and after your beach trip have the stylists at Indulge Salon apply a Sebastian Cellophanes color gloss to make your hair shine, condition, and protect your haircolor. This haircolor is deposit only and lasts a few weeks. This haircolor has no ammonia, no alcohol and no parabens that can coat or dry your hair out.

I know what a choice right? I was in Independence, Ohio this past week learning new business processes to bring back to the salon world. My world. I am constantly introduced to new people, new concepts in business that I bring back to you, our customers at Indulge salon. I am always up for conversation regarding business if you every want to talk about these with me besides my love of haircutting and haircoloring.

I digress. I’m sitting in the middle of the conference room and the presenter says if you want to see my Mayback, it’s sitting out front of the hotel. I ask my neighbor, “what is a Mayback?”. My neighbor answers and I run out to the front of the hotel seeking this luxury car specimen. I was stunned at the sleekness of the car. I ask the driver whom drives all of this presenters cars’. Art says, “this car is $409,000.00” My mouth drops open at the price of such luxury and I again need to be in the know and ask “how many are there?”. He says, 1200 unique customized designed cars and this is one of them. To describe such luxury the back has a drop down tray for the business person that needs to work while he is being driven. Of course cup holders, custom interior in your favorite colors. The heated seats, the sun roof that can change from black to clear as though its open on a sunny clear day.

Maybach-Manufaktur was a German luxury car manufacturer. The company was founded in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach and his son, originally a subsidiary of Luftschiffbau Zeppelin GmbH and was itself known as Luftfahrzeug-Motorenbau GmbH until 1912.

To all of you that love luxury, I highly recommend this ride. http://www.topspeed.com/cars/maybach/2011-maybach-edition-125-ar116094/picture416852.html

I never thought it would get better than my current car but who knows? It felt good sitting in it!
