Project Runway Stylist is coming to Indulge Salon, York PA
Project Runway popular televised show is bringing their one of their Alterna Creative Team Member’s Donnie Vasey to York Pa. We are hosting an event on Sunday April 6, 2014. Join us at our 970 S George Street location from 2:00 – 4:00. We are happy to have you pop in to take a quick peek!
Donnie Vasey has been traveling all over North America delivering cutting-edge collections of hairstyles featured on Project Runway, styling and hair cutting techniques. While not on stage in the educadtion capacity, Donnie works behind the scenes for Alterna by creating looks for print and television. Most recently his work with the Alterna Creative TEam was featured on Project Runway All-Stars.
Donnie Vasey will be our guest for a few hours while he is performing hair roadshow on the East Coast. He will be demonstrating fresh looks with a purely organic approach to cutting and styling found in the newest hair collection from Alterna. There will be a demonstration of teturizing and cutting techniques to help us adopt them in the salon that are wearable shapes and styles for our clients.
Donnie says”the whirlwind that is our hair industry first swept him away nine years ago when he and his wife Pamela opened Divinity Salon in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.” Up until that point, Donnie spent most of his time on stage but in a different role. Donnie has traveled the country in various theatre and concert productions. This is where his interest in hair really began. Donnie started freelancing his talent in the theatre. His unique styling creations were perfect for such professional productions such as Man of Lamancha, Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar, and of course. Hair.
